In April, 35.4% of U.S. home sellers cut their asking prices, slightly down from 35.6% in March and below the August peak of 36.6%. The average price cut was 4%. However, 21 metros saw increases in price reductions, with Phoenix rising to 50.8%, Seattle to 29.5%, and Orlando to 47.8%. San Antonio had the highest share at 58.7%, followed by Austin at 55.8%, Phoenix, Dallas, and Tampa.
